Sometimes when we think its a life set back, You're wrong!

Have you ever ask yourself this, Why bad things happen to good people? Whenever we choose to do the right thing, be kinder to people around you, all of a sudden nasty things happen and you don't know what's the point and you just accepted the fact that life here on earth sucks... Let me tell you my 1st big miracle of 2012 that were taken from this kind of circumstances.

During the hype of Christmas season where every one is busy shopping, and buying gifts for their loved ones I was dumbfounded that our water pump malfunctioned. Changing this motor will cost us at least 10k to 13k for the average quality motor pumps. I was really sad to look at my mother's eyes seeing that this will be deducted to our hard earned savings for the holiday season which happens to be their 29th wedding anniversary as well.

I was so in regret that the motor pump broke down too early for our Maynilad connection to come in. If we are going to spend almost 20 thousand to fix our deep well water system, it will not so worth it because Maynilad will start their water system this 1st quarter of the year. I then told myself, Why Lord? What's the wisdom behind this challenge?

Its been a while since we are struggling how bad our water is at home. We only use them to wash the plates and other stuff but not for taking a bath and cooking. So I really see that replacing the motor will just be a big waste of money.

Tatay went to Binondo to get a good deal for a water pump and thank God he did. We all thought the challenge was over, not until my father tested the motor pump and did not solve the problem. We can't do anything but to consult those who are professionally doing deep wells. True enough, the problem isn't just the motor. Having a good deal of motor pump made sense because we are going to spend the rest for making a whole new dig for our water system!

Having that faith and surrendering to the Lord everything will bring me to peace. I just let it be and thank that we have saved money for the holidays and for my youngest brothers tuition fee that we have money to spend for emergency that happened. (That's why emergency funds is really important when things like this happens but that's another topic)
Any ways after four days of digging and making the new system, we finally have a water in time for the New Year's eve. And to our surprised, the water flowing out in our faucet is not any more "sulfurish" and "heavy."
The water well they have discovered is now far more clearer and cleaner than the water we have been suffering for to use for the past 4 years at least. You can smell the fresh stone where the water came out from.

I now see the wisdom of the Lord behind what happen. He knows that our money is worth spending because we will be free from the usage of "sulfurish" water. If not for the motor pump malfunction. We would not enjoy the goodness of taking a bath without getting water from our village pump. Who knows that Maynilad project will not be done until the end of this first quarter. Only MVP knows! hahaha

As for the money we spent, I know God is a God of restoration. He will restore everything that was lost to supply every need my family have. Sometimes when we think that what was happening is a set-back, its not! Its actually a God set-up. =)
