Part of GROWING PAINS...

Wow! It’s been a while since the last time I wrote my last daily blessing. Let’s just say I’ve been clogged with so much. Struggles that may seem to blocked my eyes to see and compose God’s grace. It’s true that even if you are with the Lord for so long there will be times you feel the dryness of your spirit. Funny is that you don’t even know where and when did it start. Most women can blame it to our hormones!
During those times I can barely say a prayer, I feel God is so far and can’t be seen. It’s hard to be in that point wherein you need to get recharged but you don’t know when the breakthrough will come in. During these times it reminded me about the concept of physical sickness, that when we have few sleepless nights, our immunity system goes weak and it’s really easy for us to catch different kinds of virus and when we don’t take vitamins or have some exercises we tend to “baby” what we feel. Same goes with the spirit, we encounter these things we should not “baby” them, we need to do some stretching, seek teaching even if they don’t feel being absorbed because it’s in God’s hands when will breakthrough comes out.

Why does Spiritual Dryness happen?
When I was working with my previous employer we eat pizza all the time. Since it’s almost every other day that it came to a point that there are times where I don’t get my share anymore. It became so ordinary and so plain; its distinctiveness was all gone. Just like our life with God, if the feeling is the same all the time, we will no longer find the greatness of His Presence. Observe that dryness of the Spirit just happens to those who are already renewed in faith.

After the drought, spring begins in a whole new level
You can’t be down if you did not experience being up and high with your spirit. God makes us experience the feeling of Him being far away to feel the extravagance of being with Him. Have you experience that after such a miserable feeling, you will all of a sudden have the feeling of being lifted and being carried in a way so loving and you just can’t stop say your praises and your gratitude to our Most High God.
See? Every season has its learning and every circumstance has its blessing.  I’m not saying its saying its easy when we are at the season of misery, but it will be a lot easier to carry when we know why things happen that way. It’s God’s way of teaching us to appreciate and recognize His all-time GLORY! Looking back, we will realize that all of it are just part of GROWING PAINS.
