Here in my Heart

On my way to work this morning I was uttering a silent prayer to see Jesus in my circumstances. I entered 7-11 and heard this music. I know this is a secular love song and I know this for quit sometime but this morning... God gave me this as his love song for me. You too can listen to this its as if its the Lord's message for you:

****Here in my heart***

Wherever you are tonight girl
I'll see you in my dreams
Wherever I go tomorrow
You'll be here next to me

And though we are a world apart
I know you'll never be that far

'Cause here in my heart
There's a picture of us
(Of us)
Together forever
Unfaded and unbroken

Wherever you are
Your love covers me
Forever more
(Forever more)
You'll be here in my heart

Whenever I miss
(I miss)
Miss you so much
It's more than I can bear

Now I won't cry
(I won't cry)
I'll just close my eyes and know
You'll be there

Your kiss and your touch
(Kiss and your touch)
I'll never forget
'Cause you're as close as my very next breath

Here in my heart
There's a picture of us
Together forever
Unfaded and unbroken

Wherever you are
Your love covers me
Forever more
(Forever more)
You'll be here in my heart

And though we are
(I know we are)
A world apart
I know you'll never be that far
(Far)

'Cause here in my heart
There's a picture of us
Together forever
Unfaded and unbroken

Wherever you are
Your love covers me
Forever more
(Forever more)
You'll be here in my heart

JUST DO IT...

How often do we invite people with our well-planned parties where in you have 100 expected guests but only 30 people came? Don’t you notice that failed relationship always has broken promises? As simple as wanting to lose weight but we don't do something about it? All of these things happen because we say YES but we don't EXECUTE. Friends, sole intention does not count. This is because PURELY INTENTION has no result, thus it will not lead us to success.

Success manifest through EXECUTION and there are three principles to make it happen. Good execution happens if when we START and when we start NOW. No matter how great a plan is it would not be manifested if we don’t act. I think both Science and Religion agrees to this. Albert Einstein once said that NOTHING HAPPENS UNTIL SOMETHING MOVES as Jesus taught that Faith WITHOUT ACTION is dead. By Starting, we create ACTION and ACTION produces RESULTS.

The second principle is that when we start, we should start SMALL. We need to learn to catch the small fish before we go to the big ones. If we will take a closer look at the success stories of people, there is always one denominator, and that is they all have HUMBLE BEGGININGS. Manny Pacquiao did not fight prominent boxers right away, he started small boxing fights in his local place with anyone whom he can do a match. Steven Spielberg did not start with the renowned film as big as Titanic, he started with low-budgeted movies and from there he went bigger and bigger. Jesus Christ has instructed this to his disciples in Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” He did not just say to be my witnesses to the ends of the earth right away. If we want change or bless people, it is God telling us to start with the small and reachable group of people such as your family and friends.

The third principle is START AGAIN. When our business model fails, relationships fail, or when we fail ourselves. We don’t just AIM and FIRE, we should AIM again then FIRE again. Success is a CONTINOUS GROWTH. If we STOP growing, we will start DYING. Believers of Christ should not lose HOPE. Do not AIM for perfect execution but AIM for PERSISTENT execution. Instead of leaning to our PAST FAILURES, let us anticipate the GOOD THINGS in the FUTURE.  Let us all trust God that He CAN do AMAZING things in our lives. We have a BIG GOD at our back so don’t be afraid, let’s JUST DO IT.

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
Ecclesiastes 9:10

God gives us reasons to SMILE everyday....

Sometimes when things are going tough we find so much effort to smile. Even the reason for smiling is God’s miracle for all of us. We might not see it as a miracle but come to observe people around. There are people who are blessed to be cheerful, some people though find so hard to put a simple smile on their face as if they have been conceived in the wrong way (peace!). If you can relate to these types of people, I want to recommend praying for God a reason for you to smile every day! Yes, as simple as this can be prayed for. J Ask and we shall receive! If on the other hand you are the type of person that can easily put laughter on their faces, find time to bless other people to be infected with you smile. You can also pray for people who find it hard to smile. They maybe need healing and acceptance. We’ll never know, your smile on them may be a start of their healing.

Today, God gave my reason to smile! The past few weeks were not so good for me and to be honest, I find it difficult to add article on my blog so last night before I sleep and prayed to God to give me a reason to smile when I woke up. True enough, He never ever failed me. Today I received a great news, I passed my licensing exam. J

The Miracle of Support Team

Growing up, I was looking for a community to join in. My purpose is to meet a lot of people. I love meeting new friends and hearing their stories. It amazes me how things are being moved by God that works for that person and for the people in his circle. Their stories inspires me to get on my feet and that God has blessed me so much because some of their trials are really inevitable and cannot imagine if it would be bearable for me. As I grow with them, little did I know that God will use my community to save my life in a way I never have imagined.

Last Thanksgiving of 2010, I thought I just had an ordinary flu, but on the third day when my fever finally went down, I experienced extraordinary bleeding of gums while brushing my teeth.

I was brought to ER to have my platelets checked, finding out that from 180 dropped to 87 (Btw the bracket of a normal platelet count ranges to 400-120). I was advised to be confined knowing that it is a suspected Dengue fever. Platelet count of 84 went down to 45, the doctors in Asian Hospital advised to get ready for a blood donation. Then I found out that my blood type B+ was not an easy blood type to look for. Asian Hospital’s blood bank doesn’t have my blood type so I have to look outside.  From 45 went down 20 then down to 14 then to 9.

God being so gracious had given me the chance to serve two communities and my brothers and sisters from my Light of Jesus Community and Singles for Christ. They have tapped every person that can donate blood. There will be times when someone knocks at my room asking if I am the one in need of blood. A lot of helping hand and prayers were handed over to me. Not only God saved me but He has given me the realization of the miracle He has made in the support team I have.

7 days of Reflection- Day 7 "What Changes do You Want to Happen?"

They say that the only thing constant in this world is CHANGE. I would not wonder why, because God gives us a lot of opportunity to become the best of what we can be. He makes sure that what he created is destined to be the best and the only way to do that is to constantly have a positive change. CHANGE is GROWTH. When growth stops the next thing to happen is to diminish the negative side of change.
Change is one of the miracles that God made on this earth. Imagine a former drug user, womanizer transforms to be a Church leader. Prisoners being transformed as God-fearing individuals, but we don’t have to be to that extent to change.
Last two weeks ago at the feast a challenge was given to us and I can share that with you. Pick a habit that you will change in 30 days. It can be anything like saying a prayer before you wake up in the morning or to clean your room every day. Anything that you will not miss for the next 30 days and you will be amaze how God will transform that little habit into something big.
Once you develop a new habit, try to look for a bad habit again and do it for the next 30 days. Not 21 (I know it takes only 21 days to become a habit) 30 because we aim for excellence! J
What I’ll do is to imagine my dreams before going to sleep as if they are already real until I see them come true in Jesus Name!
So what changes do you want to happen? Start now!

7 Day Reflection- Day 6: My timing is PERFECT so Trust in Me

Sometimes when we are dumbfounded with the things going on in our lives, it’s very likely that we check with our friends as our benchmark. We have seen where have they been and where we are at the moment. We will see all those who are already successful, has launched their businesses, which got married and already have their families of their own. We see all the good things on them and started to look how loser we became compare to them.

Then we will ask the Lord “Why can’t I be like that?” Why can’t I drive this failure in my life?” Why am I alone?” Even if I’m a good person and have plans why can’t I succeed like my other friends?”When this happens, insecurities develop and we will fall into this pit of hopelessness until it will be so hard to get up. We will feel miserable until we almost drive out the important person in our lives because we don’t see goodness in ourselves anymore.

If we only realize how little our faith is. We need to fill our love tanks with the love of God. Wounded soldiers as we are, God gave us people that will carry us through to inspire us, support us, and guide us. Only if we realize to believe, He will reveal the magnificent tomorrow He provided for us.  Anything is possible to anyone who believes. Fear, depression, distress, anxieties are mountains that prohibit us to grow. But Perfect Love casts out all of them. Then healing comes in, our eyes will slowly see the good things that no other person can do but you.

If you think you are behind them, you’re wrong… because God knows that you still have to undergo some lessons in life for you to be ready for the things He for have aspire you to have. You are just in a different time frame. If God can only tell us “You wouldn’t like it Child if I give this to you now. I’m telling you it’s going to be a serious problem and I love you too much to see you get in trouble… Just hold on My child, because I will never be late to answer you, but I will never be early as well. My timing is PERFECT so Trust in Me.”
